About Us

President: Geo Morales

Thank you for visiting our website. PRSA Orlando is celebrating its 30th year in 2012 and we are very excited about what this year has in store.

Throughout its history, PRSA Orlando has prided itself on providing members opportunities for professional development and networking.

We are working hard to ensure that tradition continues this year and into the future by bringing you impactful programs. Look for these programs to include some of the most current newsworthy topics and energetic speakers you’ll find locally or nationally.

There is certainly no better time to be a PRSA member. The organization is providing more for its members than ever before, and a lot of it is FREE. An example is the unprecedented opportunity to sharpen your skill set by participating in any of the more than 50 free live and on-demand webinars that are planned for 2012. Some of the biggest names in the PR field will be leading these webinars, so you will not want to miss it.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our regular lunches or the new networking mixers planned throughout the year. Either of these provide you the opportunity to meet with chapter leadership and chat about what’s important to you as a PR professional. Make sure you bookmark this site on your browser and visit often to learn about the next great opportunity.

Thank you,
Geo Morales, APR

The Public Relations Society of America/Orlando Chapter is one of 116 worldwide chapters focused on advancing the public relations profession and the PR professional practioner. Nearly 200-strong and growing, the membership represents a diverse mix of mid- to senior-level practitioners with a passion and commitment to engaging and growing the practice of public relations in Central Florida. These practitioners represent counseling firms, independent consultants, business and industry, military, government, associations, hospitals, schools, professional services firms and nonprofit organizations.

PRSA is the world's largest organization for public relations professionals with nearly 20,000 members organized into 116 chapters worldwide. With the vision to unify, strengthen and advance the profession of public relations, PRSA has established itself as the pre-eminent organization that builds value, demand and global understanding for public relations.
