UCF Scholarship

The PRSA Orlando/Frank R. Stansberry Scholarship provides financial assistance to one full-time University of Central Florida student majoring in public relations each year. PRSA Orlando has reached its goal of raising $25,000 to endow the scholarship this year, but there is still much more to do.

Your contribution to the PRSA Orlando/Frank R. Stansberry Scholarship at UCF will help encourage bright, eager young men and women to major in public relations and become the next generation of practitioners.

Donating is easy and tax deductible. Please see the following two methods in which you may donate. 

Online Giving
It’s easy to give online. Visit the UCF Foundation’s College of Sciences Giving Page and designate the “PRSA Orlando/Frank Stansberry Scholarship” under Donation Information.

Giving by Mail
Checks should be written to THE UCF FOUNDATION, INC. with a note in the memo section that reads STANSBERRY SCHOLARSHIP. Please include a note that your gift is for the PRSA Orlando/Stansberry Scholarship. Send your gift to:

Scholarship Criteria:

  • Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida in the Nicholson School of Communication majoring in public relations.
  • Graduating seniors are not eligible.
  • Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average.
  • This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation provided that funds are available and the recipient maintains award renewal criteria.
  • Must demonstrate leadership roles in school or community.
  • The criteria for awarding the Scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance.
  • All awards will be processed through the University Office of Student Financial AssistanceThis scholarship, to the extent funds are available, will be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.

Scholarship Award:

One student will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship for up to 2 years.
