What will I be doing? As Manager, External Communications you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards: The Corporate Communications Team is responsible for protecting and enhancing the reputation of Hilton Grand Vacations, as well as increasing awareness, information, and engagement levels among target audiences. The Manager, External Communications, will be responsible for providing communications counsel to internal partners, in addition to developing, managing, and executing on strategic communications plans, corporate materials, research and analysis, media relations, digital media, and key stakeholder outreach. Plays a key role in producing, managing, and executing our Communications strategy. Provides oversight for and execution of strategic media relations initiatives. Builds and nurtures relationships with key media. Plans and manages media events. Owns research and reporting initiatives to measure success. Manages internal processes for external communications, specific to message content, timing, audience around company announcements. Ensures consistency of company narrative for all external communications. Manages all external touchpoints, including corporate website media center. Coordinates across departments to ensure externally facing materials, information sources, etc. are up-to-date and disseminated appropriately. Manages vetting process for approval of Team Member speaking engagements in close coordination with Legal. Plays key role in issues and crisis mitigation planning and management. Produces and disseminates analysis of media coverage. Manages ongoing media training program. Coordinates with Director of Social Media to support planning and implementation of an integrated social strategy. Supports Government Affairs efforts in conjunction with Legal. Supports Industry Relations specific to media relations and reputation management. Ongoing management of Community Relations with emphasis on our domestic footprint.
