Charisma Media’s Media Group is seeking a talented individual that has a passion for marketing across various media including digital, print, and social. This individual will be responsible for helping to write, create and coordinate marketing ideas and promotions while ensuring all messaging is on brand.

Internet Marketing • Write, create and develop campaigns to increase magazine subscriptions • Coordinate and develop web-based sales promotions (banner ads, takeover ads, dedicated emails, drip emails) and other online marketing campaigns to help increase subscription revenue for our magazine products • Identify new ways to increase awareness and generate additional ROI for our print and digital magazines across all web properties • Help to set up and facilitate social media contests, giveaways, and other promotions as needed Print Marketing • Write, create and develop campaigns to increase magazine subscriptions • Coordinate ad materials to go in our print magazines (including special issues and supplemental) • Coordinate marketing materials for conferences, partnerships, direct mailers, etc. Email marketing • Write, create and develop campaigns to increase magazine subscriptions and other products offered through the Audience Development department • Develop compelling campaigns for magazine subscriptions, single copy magazine sales, special editions, leadership training, and ecommerce store • Write, create and develop new ideas and tactics to increase newsletter subscriptions across all platforms Other duties as assigned within the Media Group.
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing preferred; Communications, Advertising or Public Relations • 1-3 years of experience in writing, copy-editing preferably in a Marketing role (provide examples) • Knowledge in digital and social media technology and channels and how to best leverage for marketing programs as part of an overall social business strategy • Excellent organizations skills and deadline management skills. Strong attention to details. • Strong Copywriting and copy-editing desired • Presentation skills desired • Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms • Knowledge in Shopify ecommerce platform preferred • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Self starter and quick learner; Ability to work independently and with groups • Strong communication skills; Positive, can-do attitude • Ability to be motivated, to learn and and work closely with others to meet deadlines including the Magazine Group leadership team • Team player • Abide by all policies outlined in the Charisma Media policy manual
