XOS Digital, Inc., a leading digital sports media company, is
looking to add a qualified communications intern to its Lake Mary
office for the 2012 summer semester. This position is for academic
credit and offers flexible hours, casual dress code and a chance to
work with some of the country's best sports teams. If selected, the
intern will walk away with a portfolio full of finished work and a
letter of recommendation. An exceptional intern is always
considered for entry-level positions, too. The Communications
Intern is responsible for assisting the Affiliate Network team in
all aspects of sales, marketing and corporate communications.
Projects address multiple collegiate sports organizations and their
associated news outlets across the country. Projects include news
release drafting, media list compilation, affiliates site
monitoring and communicating with news affiliates regarding the SEC
Video Zone.

Responsibilities:
Conduct quality control checks of news affiliates'
websites
Renew current affiliates' contracts for secondary terms
Draft news releases
Generate media lists for news distribution
Archive company media coverage
Skills/Experience
Required:
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Exceptional organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products, primarily Word &
Excel
Availability to work late May - early August
Reliable transportation
Education
Desired or Required:
Junior or Senior college student enrolled at an accredited
educational institution - Area of study: Public Relations,
Marketing, Journalism; sports knowledge preferred
Salary or Range:
Non-paid, academic credit only
